We’re three years strong at Anu bar this December and for our anniversary jam we’ll be gracing the decks ourselves all night. Sadly MC Child is on duty in L.A. for the night (well, not sadly for those in the L.A. area!) but his spirit will be there with a firm grip on a mic and a pint of Guinness.

This month SDI presents the sounds of deep Drum & Bass via the Midlands UK. The infamous Advection Music Group and extended family produce a series of club nights known as Central Projection, recognized as the leading forward-thinking D&B night in the Birmingham area. They are also behind the Saturday night System Check Drum & Bass show, heard every Saturday on New Style Radio 98.7 FM in Birmingham. They have produced numerous Progression Sessions parties and have two US tours under their belts. As if that wasn’t enough, the Advection Music record label is now in full swing with the release of a debut 12″ from Tidal – Gemini Force b/w Wisdom Tunnels (ADV001) and a second from the Bay Area’s own Galaxi coming soon. If it isn’t already obvious, this family is doing big things in the worldwide progressive D&B scene and are now returning stateside with their very own brand of funk-fueled dancefloor jungle.
